My list of 20

November 17th, 2006 at 01:26 am

1.I skipped school a lot during my senior year. I still have dreams that I have to take a test for a class that I haven’t been to in a month. ( I am not proud of this)

2.I still got excellent grades even though I skipped school a lot.

3.I originally wanted to be an accountant. But changed my mind when I was 20 and decided to be a chemical engineer.

4.I started my first savings account on my 17th birthday with $100. I had $3000 by the time I graduated high school a year later.

5.I have been working for the same company since I graduated high school.

6.The same company paid for almost 100% of my college education.

7.I bought my first house when I was 19 for $80,000.

8.I went to Disney World on my honeymoon.

9.My favorite movie(s) of all time are the Back to the Future Trilogy.

10. I cannot parallel park or back into parking spaces.

11. When people read my first name, they mispronounce it 90% of the time. I have only met one other person in my life who has the same first name as me.

12.Because of this I will give my children 'traditional' names.

13.I have never broken a bone.

14.The first time I stayed in a hospital was after giving birth to my son via C-section (……..after 16 hours of labor)

15.I want to have another baby within the next year.

16.This is weird, but I cannot sleep barefoot.

17. Besides my mother I am the biggest chicken I know.

18.I am very shy…people often mistake it for b*tchy.

19.I used to be a cheerleader, and once won a state competition.

20.I love to read.

woman i used to work with got married at disney: cost a bloody fortune, but it was her lifelong dream... it's awesome that you've found a company that will take care of you and value you as an employee. i'm hoping i've found the same. oh, and DH absolutely loves the BTTF trilogy too: that was one of my first Christmas gifts to him Smile

I think everyone has that dream about having to take another test...that is a recuuring theme with me! Unless you live in a city who cares about paralell parking. Rmember practice makes perfect in parking.

I wish my wife would not sleep barefoot...she has the coldest feet on the planet and thinks that I am her personal foot warmer....I particularly love it when she does it when I am sound asleep.....Big Grin
You know I was going to put never broke a bone in my list but thought about it and left it out. A couple of people have mentioned it in their lists. Hmmmm! That is interesting!WinkSmile

I think #18 and #19 are an interest dichotomy. I always figured that most cheerleader types are out-going and loves to "show off" so to speak. But hey, what do I know about cheerleaders. Pout. Stick Out Tongue
Oh, and #14? That's insane. Quite possibly the most agonizing birth I've ever heard of.... Makes you wanna have triplets now, don't it? Big Grin

My full name was mispronounced by every teacher I ever had...I hated roll call on the first day of school....because of that, My kids names are as easy and ordinary as they come!

name issues RIGHT here: tina is the shortened version of my name, and the middle name isn't any better. no teacher has ever gotten it right, i would just have to yell "call me tina!".

and worst of all, my sister's first and middle names rhyme with my first and middle names, so everyone thought we were twins even though i am older by 2 yrs 4 days. talk about a long labor! *g*

I'm with you on #1. I have one of two types: It's the night before my Biology final, and I wonder whether to do all the lab experiments (which I never did) or study for the final (missed all the classes). I hate science...

The other is the night before the English final, and I was supposed to read 5 books. I debate whether to spend the night reading 1 book the whole way through, or the first and last chapters of each of the books.

In both dreams, I usually don't know where the classes are being held or what time I'm supposed to be there. It's weird that this is such a universal dream...

I absolutely hate those type of dreams! And I don't sleep barefoot either. My feet freeze even in warm weather.

#1 - everyone has those dreams, right? Hehe.

That is funny - I can not sleep with socks on - drives me mad. We don't exactly get cold weather though here - hehe.

I cannot sleep with socks, either, no matter how cold (luckily, I live in the tropics! LOL!...)...Ale seems to have inherited that! :P

My first name is one of those cute let's combine two godmothers names into an unpronouncable mess shall we! My last name is even harder to pronounce. Yes, my children will also have traditional, boring and easy to pronounce names. No. 10 is hysterical, me too, drove my dad nuts!

My school dreams are always that I am supposed to be in a high school class (never college), but can't get there or can't find the room - and I rarely missed a class in high school!
I cannot sleep with socks ON - have to kick them off before I climb into bed (much to DH's dismay as I also use him as my personal foot warmer Smile)
