Amazing Asparagus

Taking BA up on his suggestion to discuss asparagus.

Snap off the ends and lay them flat on a cookie sheet. Spray with oil or butter, sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Roast at 350 for 10 -15 minutes, and enjoy!

    I love asparagus too, but for the life of me, I wouldn't know how to cook it if my mother's life depended on it. It just seems like such a finicky veggie to get it right.

    I do love it though, but again, only when done right. One of my favorite local steak houses cooks them, and they usually do such a great job sauteeing them. Mmmmm. I love their asparagus. Smile

    Gosh, I just boil them in salted water for 4 minutes, drain, add butter and eat. Best fresh out of the garden.
